The Art of Organising: designing our organisations and organising for the new abnormal
25th June, 10 – 11.30am
How do we step up to the challenges and the opportunities provided by this period of uncertainty and rethink the way we organise as a sector?
What might our organisations look like in future?
What are the core issues we need to address in the way we organise?
How might we improve the way we work?
Art of Organising will be a Zoom Lab to open up the conversation about how we might re-design our organising and maybe even the sector. This is intended to be a wide-ranging discussion with a practical focus that will come up with action points to take forward. Some of the emphasis may be on organisations but you don’t have to be part of an organisation to get involved and share your views.
The session is free, and you can sign up via Eventbrite.
All Change Group: supporting you to navigate change
We are aware that arts and cultural organisations have gone through and are likely to be going through significant changes. This is at a scale few of us have experienced before so we are considering creating a small support group to allow members to share information, advice and experiences. The group will be for 10-12 people and you are welcome to join regardless of scale, artform or location. We imagine it will be most useful for people dealing with or leading large-scale change in their organisations.
Susan and I will support the first four sessions with the intention that the group will become self-sustaining after that time so we can then offer a similar opportunity to another group. There is no charge to join the group but places are limited (we’ll be allocating them on a first come first serve basis).
If this is something that might be of interest do let us know (add a comment below or email us via the contact page)
