Friday selection box – some inspiration and ideas

Its Friday selection box time again, here’s a few selected highlights from Susan and I for this week.

The Coronavirus Time Capsule – Company Three

An amazing project from the inspirational Company Three that has gone global, connecting teenagers across the world as they document their lives week by week.

Huge ethical choices face those tasked with bringing the UK out of lockdown

A great blog from Paul Johnson of the Institute for Fiscal Studies which is important not just for what it says about the current crisis but also for this quote

‘We should be working out how to make the choice. We need some framework for decision-making, not a set of opinions about the right decision.’

This should make us all think about how we are going to make the difficult decisions ahead for our own organisations.

Lessons in agility from a dancer turned professor

Some great insights from former dancer and now Professor of Leadership at IMD, Jennifer Jordan about to be agile in these most challenging of times.

Letting go

A different way of thinking about letting go as Siawn Ou talks about letting go of the floor – no reading involved!

Vulnerability

If you haven’t come across her before Brene Brown has a lot of wisdom to share and in a very engaging way. This talk about vulnerability feels very relevant.

Foam Remake

One of my favourite galleries, and I love this project! For all the photographers out there, take on the challenge of remaking photographs in the Foam collection.

Have the best weekend you can and stay safe.
