I have been really inspired by two tweets on doing recruitment differently this week from Watershed and the Princes Trust.
Watershed: make a video about the role then caption it and include BSL interpretation
Princes Trust: explain why certain skills, experience and knowledge are required/desirable for a role in a person spec
Changing history: Diversifying the museum workforce
The 2020 Inc Arts Hold On report revealed that only 2.7% of the museums, galleries and libraries workforce are from Black and Minority Ethnic communities. We want to know why that is and what can be done to change it.

The second edition of the Award for Civic Arts Organisations shines a spotlight on how arts organisations are rethinking their own relationships with the communities they serve as we emerge from a period of disruption and acceleration of trends in the art world and in society. We offer one award of £100,000 and two of £25,000.
