British Social Attitudes

Some really fascinating and quite sobering insights from the latest British Social Attitudes report (scroll down for the seperate reports).

…record numbers – 70% in 2023 and 67% in 2024 – are now saying that their incomes have failed to keep up with prices over the last year. Both figures are well above the previous high (since the question was introduced in 1984) of 55% recorded in both 1985 and 1991.
